P.S. Since I'm Dutch and I made this weblog for people at home who want to follow my adventures during my research I will write mostly in Dutch. But if there are a lot of people who want to keep track of me in English, I'll surely do my best to translate everything I write.

Hi there, my name is Fanny and I am a Anthropology student and I also work parttime as a fine art teacher at a highschool in the Netherlands.
Next April I will go to the Huascaran NP in Peru to do research on the local spiritual values of the Great Inca Road (or Inca Nani in local language). My ticket has been booked, but I still have to write my research proposal and get definite approval of my plans from the University and the The Mountain Institute in Peru. All in all it's quite exciting!
